I've been meaning to get a growth chart for the past 6 months - ever since Ty turned 2 because I have very fond memories of standing against this wooden beam in the basement of my old house and praying and praying for that extra inch. Unfortunately, I never got it. Anaya's going to out grow me in a few years - I can just feel it. In any case, all the simple but portable growth charts out there are upwards of $50 - $50 I don't have to spend on a growth chart, so luckily I found these perfect decals
on etsy so I bought a piece of wood at big box hardware and put this together. The decal was easy to put on and I think it looks great. The kids measure themselves all the time.

CFW - for real
Some actual Charleston Fashion Week shots of my clothes (and my little lady) in action. The show was great and the crowd loved the kids. A was on the shy side, to be expected, and when asked if she had fun, she replied "yes", but when asked if she would want to do it again, she quickly replied "no". Then she amended and said "well, maybe in a long time, like next year". Fine by me.

CFW a.k.a Charleston Fashion Week
I have the chance to come up with some pieces for our little town's fashion week, thanks to my friend Liz and her awesome store Poe Studios. The theme for her show is "Vintage Circus" and Anaya's going to be one of the little models, which I'm half super siked about and half nervous about. I just have no idea what she's going to do or think about it and I'm prepping her best I can but it's a crap shoot with kids. Here's what I've got so far.
May add a detatchable collar to this one.
May add a little string belt to this one.
